There are still a lot of inequalities that women face with regards to finances like the gender wage gap and the gender investing gap. To rise up to that challenge and push for the financial equality among women, many women like myself are becoming financial feminists.

Another such woman is Miracle Olatunji, an amazing college student at Northeastern University in Boston. At such a young age, Miracle is an entrepreneur, public speaker and author. At 17, she founded OpportuniMe, a digital media and education company which empowers the next generation of leaders to develop life, leadership, and career skills.

In this episode, Miracle shares how she got into personal finance and eventually became a financial feminist. I asked her how she managed to go to the university that she wanted and navigate a debt-free college life.

As a first generation immigrant in the US, Miracle had to shift her mindset around personal finances and learn how to manage her anxiety around money. She shares how she’s building generational wealth today and why it’s so important.

We also touched on the importance of investing, on Miracle’s ongoing therapy for self-love and why self-trust is a form of self-love.

Listen in to hear her story and get some great tips to achieve financial wellness.
