About the Summit

Join us for the inaugural Mental Health and Wealth Summit. You don't have to spend hundreds of dollars to get good money advice or mental health strategies that can help. At the summit, we have financial therapists, a Certified Financial Planner®, student loan expert, breathwork practitioner, and more who can help you manage your money and mental health.

Financial Therapist

Lindsay Bryan-Podvin is a biracial financial therapist, speaker, and author of the book “The Financial Anxiety Solution.” In her therapy practice, Mind Money Balance, she uses shame-free financial therapy to help people get their minds and money in balance. She’s expanded her services to help private practice therapists with their money mindset, sustainable pricing, and authentic marketing so they can include financial self-care in their work. She lives with her partner and their dog on the traditional land of the Fox, Peoria, Potawatomi, and Anishinabewaki peoples also known as Michigan.

Bryan Ruiz, CFP®

CFP® Professional

Bryan Ruiz is a CFP® professional with a continual interest in the intersection of emotions and personal finance. He has worked in tax accounting, banking, customer service, and comprehensive planning. In 2018, he completed a financial planning residency at Kahler Financial Group in Rapid City, SD under Rick Kahler, a pioneer in financial life planning and financial therapy. As a proud introvert, his goal is to listen first then encourage people with where they want their money to go, not scold them for what they’ve done.

Begonya Klumb

Head of HSA for Fidelity Investments

Begonya Klumb is the Head of HSA for Fidelity Investments, where she manages the HSA business with almost $7 billion in assets in more than 1.5 million health saving accounts. Prior to joining Fidelity in 2018, Begonya was the CEO of UMB Healthcare Services, a division of UMB Bank, and grew it to more than $2 billion in assets, more than 1 million health
saving accounts, and more than 5.3 million benefit cards. Prior to this position, she held positions at UMB Financial
Corporation as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, Director of Mergers & Acquisitions and Director of Corporate Strategy

Wendy Wright, LMFT, CEDS, CIEC, Financial Therapist, is a psychotherapist and consultant based in Denver, CO. Wendy offers financial counseling and helps you name the blocks that get in the way of your best financial life. In her early career she was a mortgage loan officer, and then later became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Melanie has an M.A. from New York University, is passionate about music, boxing, and mental health and lives in Los Angeles with her two cats, Miles and Thelonious.
